Meet Dr. Trent McCord, DDS
Dr. Trent McCord grew up in Northwest Arkansas. He attended college at William Jewell College in Kansas City, MO, where he met his wife, Sara. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. In dental school, he was the class vice president and won the Edward L. Wilson Award.
Active in his community, Dr. McCord serves as a volunteer dentist with the Samaritan Community Center in Northwest Arkansas. In 2015, he was named their volunteer of the year.
Dr. McCord and his wife have two beautiful daughters, Collins and Finley, as well as their dog, Haywood. When not at work, Dr. McCord enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, reading, and fishing. He is also a big Arkansas Razorbacks fan!
Meet Dr. Chelsea Knox, DDS
Dr. Chelsea Knox attended the University of Oklahoma, completing her bachelor’s degree in zoology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where she received pediatric dentistry honors. While in dental school, she ranked #2 in her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which is a national dental honor society based on clinical skills, merit, and community outreach.
Dr. Knox is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arkansas State Dental Association. She enjoys volunteering and has gone on a dental mission trip to Peru.
Outside of dentistry, she loves to kayak and hike, enjoying the natural beauty that Northwest Arkansas has to offer. She also plays in an adult volleyball league. Although Dr. Knox is an Oklahoma native, she is an avid Razorback fan.
Meet the Mint Dental Care Staff
Tasha is a native to Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith in May of 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She loves helping her patients increase their confidence in their smile and overcome their fear of the dentist. Tasha got married in the fall of 2016. On her time off, she enjoys reading a good book, hiking, and floating on the Buffalo River. Some people like to say that she was the inspiration for the eye-rolling emoji. Tasha says, “GO HOGS!!”
Veronica was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas. She graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College in 2013. She then went to Missouri Southern State University to obtain her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in May of 2016, followed by her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in December of 2016. Veronica is fluent in Spanish, which gives her the opportunity to communicate comfortably with our patients. She enjoys giving our patients the best quality care by educating them about their dental health. She says, “There is nothing more exciting than giving your patient a beautiful and healthy smile.” In her spare time, Veronica enjoys being with her family and her dog, doing arts and crafts, and baking. In fact, she was lucky enough to be on Cupcake Wars!
Kim was born and raised in Springdale, Arkansas. Since working as a dental assistant her junior year of high school, she knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist. Kim studied at the University of Arkansas and then transferred to Missouri Southern State University, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene in 2013. Outside the workplace, she enjoys hiking; training for American Ninja Warrior; traveling; and spending time with her boyfriend Alex, friends, and family. She also enjoys loving on her sweet Goldendoodle, Stella!
Eva is originally from Mexico City and has been living in Northwest Arkansas for over 20 years. She has been in the dental field for over 18 years and truly loves her profession. Eva is fluent in Spanish, which allows her to provide attentive care for our Spanish-speaking patients at the practice. In her free time, she enjoys crafts, horses (she used to barrel race in Forth Worth, TX), and time spent with her husband and their three beautiful daughters.
Dany was born in Honduras and came to the United States when she was five. Since then, she has lived in Northwest Arkansas. Dany acquired her dental assistant certificate in 2012. She resides in Springdale with her husband and their baby girl. Dany enjoys fishing, hiking, belly dancing, and kayaking.
