Hands down, these are the busiest, hardest, craziest days we have all year at the office. The schedule is packed. The pace is relentless. Every chair is full. Everyone is moving. Hygienists, assistants, front desk… the whole team adjusts their schedules and pitches in wherever they’re needed.
They’re also the most fun days we have all year. And it’s not even close.
There’s a party atmosphere in the office on those days. Music’s going. People are laughing between patients. Everyone lets their hair down and just serves. You’d think a day that intense would drain people, but it’s the opposite. The energy is completely different when everyone in the building knows exactly why they’re there. When you’re the one handing someone a set of dentures they never thought they’d have… or pulling a tooth that’s been keeping a grown man up at night for six months… motivation isn’t the hard part. The hard part is finding enough hours in the week.
That’s this team. They show up because they believe in it.
Bourbon & Weller
If you’ve been to one of our community events, or just visited the office on the right day, you might have met Bourbon and Weller. Our therapy dogs. They’re brothers. Bernedoodles. Bourbon is ours, and Weller belongs to our friends.
For patients who are nervous… and a lot of Mint for More patients haven’t seen a dentist in years, so the anxiety is real… having a calm, friendly dog in the room makes a bigger difference than you’d expect. It’s one of those small things that says this is a safe place. You’re going to be okay.
Out in the Community
Our team doesn’t just serve patients inside the practice. We show up. Main Street events, school programs, partner organizations. It matters to us that people in Northwest Arkansas know who we are, what we do, and that help is available.
A lot of the patients who find their way to Mint for More do so because someone on the team had a conversation at an event, or a partner organization made the connection. This work runs on relationships, and this team builds them everywhere they go.
